This cartoon is valuable not for the gag (which is fine, and accurate), but for the subsequent description, which was written in 2002, back when nobody cared about Clint, before “Mystic River” and “Million Dollar Baby” suddenly vaulted Clint into America’s Most Important Director and National Treasure, and suddenly every movie he made became this important event everyone had to see for the presumptive Oscar result. People forget that the year before, he was just an old Hollywood fogey making movies no one bothered to see, even if they were writing webcomics about them. 😉
