Nah, it’s still just a “butter flavored topping” – not actual butter. Think of it as a margarine that is constantly in liquid form. Our actual “work instructions” where I work still refer to real butter, though (I think they might be from the 80s…). The popping oil is actually flavored coconut oil, though. (Or at least, the theatres with the best tasting popcorn use coconut oil to pop their popcorn.)
