I won’t be ordering the shirt, but did take the books.
Maybe featuring the merchandise more prominently on the site might work. I have seen the Spoiler Alert shirt on the site before, but on today’s page, all there is are a couple of ‘Store’ links on the main page (and this blog posting). I wonder if replacing 5 of your top 10 rated comics with a rotating ad (books, preorders, etc) so that it appears when people are reading your blog posting might improve things.
I agree with MrMighty in that merchandise promotion should be a bit more up front, to be honest I think you’re losing a lot of potential by not having pictures of the spoiler T’s or even hints towards them (spoil the spoiler anyone?) look at the top left of Least i could do for example http://www.leasticoulddo.com/
and neither of these have ever lead me to stop reading either of these comics, I did find less subtle options in my Favourites listing but don’t want to admit to reading the teen drama type comics 😉
Zach is bringing Joe and Monkey back on July 27. I know for a fact that he’s been working on pages like a fiend.
And by the way, that’s a good point about making the merchandise more prominent. I guess I was always concerned about ad blindness. Not only that people would stop seeing the pitch for the merchandise, but that I would come to over-rely on them and not make any changes.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, though, right? It certainly beats not mentioning it at all for months and months and crossing your fingers someone buys something!
I second the relief in knowing that J&M is coming back again (it’s gone a few times). I’m currently out of a job myself though so I can’t help ya out until I get one myself. I really want the Junkie and Emerging shirts; have for quite awhile. I’d also like books but again.. blargh.

ps no Malware you’ll be glad to hear!
Speaking of Zach, what’s he been doing lately? He hasn’t put up any new strips in nearly a year now…

I take your advice to heart. Thanks.
BTW – Thanks, too, for your business, Mighty.
Finally! J&M was one of my favorite webcomics when it was active, and I’m glad to know it’s coming back. Thanks! 🙂

Good luck on everything though!
