I just wanted to point out that we’ve fallen off the Top Ten at Top Web Comics. So this is just a little reminder to get everyone in gear and VOTE EVERY DAY!!!
Although, if I’m going to fall off the list, I don’t have a problem losing out to Instant Classic, I was getting so used to seeing our banner there…
The other bit of site news is that I am now selling advertising space (click on the link for more information). So if you have a site you would like to promote, please keep Theater Hopper in mind as an advertising option. More spots will probably become available on the left and right hand sides of the comic in the near future. So, look out for that, too.
I know there was some talk in the past about me redesigning the site, but that looks less likely now. Every layout I came up with just looked weird. Especially since I didn’t want to lose the curtains.
So what I’ll probably end up doing is ditching the links on the sides and replace those with advertising. Any specialty site news like merchandise or reviews will be placed directly below the comic but before the blog in a handy rotating banner set up. I’ll probably expand the width of the blog space as well so you won’t have to scroll so far to read it.
These are just minor touch-ups. But I thought you would like to be aware of them.

Buckle in, kids. Because we’ve got a lot of clicking to do!
It’s a brand new month and that means all the vote stats over at Top Web Comics has reset. Do your part and VOTE FOR THEATER HOPPER EVERY DAY! Right now we’re at number 22 on the list, but I’m sure we can crack the Top 10 by the end of the day with your help!
With that out of the way, I want to draw your attention to TWO new sponsers that I want you to check out.
The first is Digital Entertainment News. This is a great site chock FULL of news, reviews and information regarding all of the latest home console and PC video games. Digital Entertainment News has one of the best and most professional looking site-designs of any game review site out there. Articles are easy to find and extremely well written. And don’t forget about the contests! Check them out now!
Our second sponsor is Twisted Kaiju Theater – a web comic of an entirely different breed. Using tiny Godzilla and Monster Island-related figurines, Twisted Kaiju Theater has produced over 400 comics of Japanese-flavored wackiness. It’s hard to explain. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself!
If you could check out both of our sponsors, I would really appreciate it. These sponsorships help to keep Theater Hopper going and I would like to return the favor to anyone who has faith enough to advertise with us. It means a lot.
Thanks again to everyone for their support. Things just keep getting better and better!

Happy Valentine’s Day, all. For those of you who don’t celebrate our little Hallmark tradition… then I guess your Monday will really suck!
I’ll be back with more comments later, but in the meantime, why don’t you vote for Theater Hopper at buzzComix and take a gander at just how flimsy those compressed sawdust doors Cami was talking about…

No blog just yet because it’s 1:00 in the morning. I really wish I could write these out in advance, but frankly, I’m not that smart.
I had a crazy movie weekend and watched Million Dollar Baby, Sideways and Garden State on DVD in the span of 24 hours. I want to talk to you about it, but I’d like to wait until I don’t have to pause for 30 seconds between each word to make sure the spelling looks right.
In the meantime, why don’t you vote for Theater Hopper at buzzComix. Today’s incentive sketch isn’t comic-related, but instead a portrait of my beagle Truman. He’s made a few appearances in the comic in days of yore. Tuesday is his birthday. He turns 3. I love that little furry freak.

Don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I think the buzzComix incentive sketch I drew for today’s comic is probably one of the better sketches I’ve done in a while. Vote for Theater Hopper to see the whole thing.
Oh, and in case you missed it yesterday, I left a post regarding the winner or the original art raffle from January. If you want to find out how to win the raffle from February, all the information can be found there.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to frame my commentary about today’s comic. I’m aware that it’s slightly obtuse in it’s delivery.
So in the meantime, while I’m trying to figure that out – Why don’t you vote for Theater Hopper at buzzComix. The top 10 list recently reset and I hate to see the strip out of contention.
As a reward, you’ll be treated to one of the weirdest/cutest incentive sketches I’ve ever drawn! Oh, and I have a new banner up over at buzz. If the comic gets into the top 10, you’ll get to see it.
Thanks, y’all!

Is this drawing work safe? I AIN’T TELLIN’!

I just wanted to mention that buzzComix finally got around to resetting their list (4 days late, but beggars can’t be choosers), so if you’d like to vote for Theater Hopper, that would be great! You’ll be treated to another sketch of Jimmy as That Yellow Bastard for your trouble.

I didn’t really have time to prepare this morning’s blog. The detail work on today’s strip took me longer than I anticipiated. After a week of doing the comic in Frank Miller’s Sin City style, it took a little for me to get back into the swing of things!
Anyway, in the meantime, if you’d like to vote for Theater Hopper at buzzComix, I would greatly appreciate it. Last month we maintained a strong showing around the number two position. Let’s see if we can repeat that!
Your reward for voting is a fun little sketch that further explains Mitch’s side of the story from today’s comic. I’ll have all the details a little later…

I’m letting you know right now that this isn’t the blog for today’s comic. I have some specific thoughts about the Americanization of Nick Hornby’s novels and will be back later to extrapolate those thoughts.
In the meantime, if you find a certain glee within the premise of physical violence befalling the criminally OVERrated Jimmy Fallon, then vote for Theater Hopper at buzzComix and be treated to a small slice of celebrity abuse.
I’ll be back soon.
